The Motorola Ion is the new combined LTE, DMR and Wi-Fi communications device that provides customers with the best features of a commercial smartphone and traditional two-way radio.

The Ion is a data driven smart device which combines the crystal clear instantaneous voice of digital two-way radio, with the range of an LTE device and the feature set associated with a modern commercial smartphone.

The Ion will auto switch from UHF to broadband push-to-talk (PTT) to provide unbroken communications, regardless of the range or distance from other radios on the network. It is compatible with your existing Capacity Plus Motortrbo network, so can be added to extend the range of your operations and provide extra logistical benefits to your team.
